VITA 67.3 Cable Assemblies

Custom RF Cable Assemblies for Embedded Systems

SV Microwave designs and manufactures high-performance VITA 67 cable assemblies. We offer both custom lengths (factory direct) and standard-lengths (via our franchised distribution partners). With engineering and manufacturing facilities in West Palm Beach, FL and Mesa, AZ, we support discrete and harness configurations for VITA coaxial interfaces, including SMPM, SMPS, and NanoRF.

We manufacture in the U.S. using precision Swiss machining and in-house RF assembly expertise. Our VITA product managers actively participate in VITA and SOSA technical committees, ensuring a deep understanding of evolving standards and real-world design challenges.

Our facilities are AS9100 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certified, meaning our cable assemblies meet the aerospace industry’s most stringent standards for quality management and workmanship.

Features and Benefits

We offer high-performance, high-frequency, and low-loss cables to support your embedded system design. Available options include phase-matching, strain relief, and ruggedization for harsh environments:

  • Ø.047" coax: compact for dense routing and tight bends
  • Ø.085" coax: versatile and rugged for wider bandwidth needs
  • Ø.087-LL” coax: low insertion loss cable for precision signal integrity

SV supports discrete and harness cable assemblies across the following standards:

  • VITA 67.1/67.2/67.3 & 66.5
  • VITA 46/65/90/100 (for backplane, payload card, and optical integration)
  • SOSA-aligned and OpenVPX embedded platforms

SV assemblies are optimized for embedded system RF design with consistent, verified S-parameter performance.

Applications

  • OpenVPX / VNX+/ VITA-based embedded systems
  • FACE / CMOSS / VICTORY / MORA / HOST Initiatives and Standards
  • EW / SIGINT / A-PNT / COMMS / Radar payloads
  • Digital receiver front-ends
