Contacts and Connectors

SV Microwave offers a range of VITA 67.1, 67.2, and 67.3 contacts and connectors. We offer female and male contacts and connectors in all three VITA 67 series: SMPM, SMPS, and NanoRF. A select range of these connectors and contacts is SOSA aligned as well.

There are a few differences between our legacy VITA 67.1/67.2 interfaces and our VITA 67.3 interfaces. When comparing the VITA 67.1 & 67.2 SMPM contacts to the VITA 67.3 SMPM contacts, they both have the same snap-in retention. However, the VITA 67.3 SMPM has a removable female-female “adapter” front interface for improved centering after assembling the block. This means that these adapters can be replaced if damaged.

There are a few differences between the VITA 67.1/67.2 SMPM line and the VITA 67.3 SMPS line as well. The SMPS line has a 33% reduction in diameter for increased density. While it has the same snap-in retention as 67.1 and 67.2, it has a removable male-female “adapter” front interface for improved centering. This adapter can also be replaced if damaged. That brings us to our most recent interface addition, NanoRF. NanoRF is the smallest high-performance interface. SV offers two backplane contacts and one plug-in contact in our COTS offering.
