SV Microwave Goes Green!
SV Microwave gave away trees to its West Palm Beach Employees in the spirit of Arbor Day. This initiative began in May, gathering tree selections from employees, and trees were distributed after our Q2 employee meeting in July. Employees chose between the following selections: Crape Myrtle, Queen Crape Myrtle Tree, Colville's Glory, Yellow Geiger (Cordia lutea), June Plum (Spondias dulcis), Michelia Champaca, Garcinia Spicata, Green Star Apple (Green Caimito), Tamarind Tree, and Mulberry 'Everbearing'.
Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, having a positive influence on climate change, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. We have found that giving has a ripple effect and is contagious. A tree is a gift that benefits all of us, present and future, including the world we stand on. SV continues to promote environmental sustainability, and employees can add greenery to their yards.
